Over 60 Years Of Righting Wrongs

Litigation And Appeals: Continuing The Fight After Trial

The majority of cases are settled before they ever reach a trial. Sometimes, a case will go all the way to trial. While it is rare, there are some cases that go on to the appeals process. Our founding attorneys have extensive experience with both civil and criminal appeals. They founded Davey & Goldman Law Firm in Madison to fight on behalf of their clients against injustices. Together, they have 60 years of combined litigation experience, including pursuing cases on appeal whenever necessary.

Appealing Criminal And Civil Cases

Both of our founding attorneys Lisa Goldman and Bruce Davey have been representing clients in appeals for many years. Attorney Bruce Davey is admitted to the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 7th, 8th and 9th Circuits, and attorney Lisa Goldman is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Both have been litigating cases before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals throughout their careers as well. Our attorneys have handled a wide variety of appellate cases and have an excellent appellate record.

Advising On Appellate Matters

Our attorneys regularly consult with other lawyers who are pursuing an appeal on behalf of a client. If you are a lawyer seeking assistance with a client’s matter that is now on appeal, please feel free to give us a call. We would be happy to help however we can.
